On Tuesday 1st April 2014 Class 5 went to Middlesbrough College to see the makers of the bloodhound the fastest car in the world, it goes 1000mph.  When we arrived, the makers showed us a clip of the first bloodhound. In 1967 the fastest car went 39mph then it went to 50mph then 800mph then it could reach up to 1050mph. The wheels on the bloodhound weighed 95kg.  They used hair dye for rocket fuel.  The rocket was a jet rocket. We used Kinnex to make cars.  They pumped air into the cars to see which car travelled the furthest. Bethany, Lacey, Leonie and Tia won the race.   As they are winners, their names will now be on bloodhound itself .IMG_0305[1]
